People at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Orphan’s Project In Kenya are doing such a Heart Warming Job they rescue and rehabilitate orphaned animals.

Orphaned baby elephants who have lost their families are being raised by care takers who spend day and night by their side.

They even tuck the elephants in at night and sleep with Baby, so baby doesn’t miss his Mother.

In the wild, baby elephants sleep under the protective shadow of their mother and herd.

Our newest rescues, for whom that memory is still fresh in their minds, often need a little extra comforting and day or night, our Keepers watch over them to make sure they receive the nurturing presence they need to pull through this most difficult of time
